Abstract

This research highlights the high rate of aggravated theft in the jurisdiction of Lamongan District Police. In an effort to prevent it, Polres Lamongan implements dialogic patrols by the samapta unit. However, in-depth research shows the ineffectiveness of dialogic patrols, especially in setting targets, lack of communication effectiveness, and deficiencies in maintaining facilities and infrastructure. The results of the study recommended increasing personnel, improving capabilities, utilizing technology, and providing incentives and sanctions to patrol members. These measures are expected to increase the effectiveness of dialogic patrols in preventing aggravated theft in Lamongan, as well as improving the overall security and public order situation.
