Archiving
Tanggon Kosala is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To ensure the integrity and permanence of the journal’s archives, we utilize the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, an open-source initiative developed by Stanford University Libraries.
The LOCKSS system enables participating libraries to establish a distributed archiving network, allowing multiple institutions to store and maintain secure copies of the journal’s content. This decentralized approach helps prevent data loss due to technical failures, cyber threats, or institutional closures.
By implementing LOCKSS, Tanggon Kosala ensures that its scholarly content remains freely accessible and protected against digital obsolescence. Participating libraries have permission to create permanent archives of the journal, ensuring that academic research remains available for future generations.
