Abstract

Drug abuse among teenagers has become a crucial issue threaten social welfare and the future of the nation. Polrestabes jurisdiction Surabaya, as an urban area with various social challenges, cannot be separated from this this problem. This final assignment examines the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in prevention efforts drug abuse among high school teenagers in the area. Through approach qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and literature studies, This research aims to understand the strategy and effectiveness of Bhabinkamtibmas activities in preventing drug abuse and the challenges faced. The research results show that Bhabinkamtibmas plays an important role in education, socialization and coaching of high school teenagers to prevent drug abuse. Collaboration with schools, parents and local communities is key in implementing prevention programs. However, challenges such as limited resources, easy access to information about drugs adolescents, as well as rapid changes in adolescent behavior, are obstacles to prevention drug abuse. This research concludes that although Bhabinkamtibmas has played an active role in preventing drug abuse among high school teenagers, is still needed capacity building and more innovative and adaptive strategies. Recommendations The results include increased cooperation between sectors, development of outreach materials which is more interesting and relevant for teenagers, as well as the use of information technology for increase the effectiveness of drug abuse prevention.
