This research is motivated by the high number of motor vehicle theft in the Cimahi Police Precinct. In anticipating the rampant theft of motorized vehicles, the National Police refers to Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning the Indonesian National Police in carrying out its duties and authorities. In this case, the Sabhara Unit Turjawali Unit has carried out routine patrols, but it has not been optimal to prevent the theft of motorized vehicles. In this study, the authors use theories and concepts, including 6M Management theory and POAC, and No. Perkabaharkam No. 1 year 2017 about Patrol. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques of observation, study of documents, and interviews. The technique used is data analysis including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the low level of community awareness and the skills of members who have some deficiencies, so patrols are carried out to prevent chanting that are not optimal. The supporting factors in this activity, including Money, Materials, Methods and Machines. While the factors which hamper patrol implementation are Man and Market. The way to optimize the Sabhara Unit patrol is by using dialogical efforts Based on the results of this study, the researcher suggested that the leadership provide the opportunity for members to carry out education and training and increase their awareness to optimize the implementation of patrols in preventing criminal acts of motor vehicle theft in the jurisdiction of the Cimahi Regional Police Station.
