The author raises the final project with a problem formulation on "Optimization of Investigation and Raising of Temanggung Police Intelligence in Counteracting Radicalism of CSOs". In Kapubapten Temanggung there are several radical Islamic community organizations that can cause kamtibmas disturbances in the surrounding area. Satintelkam Polres Temanggung is the main implementing element of police duties preemptively and preventively in counteracting radicalism of mass organizations. This paper aims to describe the implementation and resources of the investigation and raising organization of the Temanggung Police Satintelkam in countering the radicalism of mass organizations. In the implementation of the research, the author uses a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive method research and conducts data collection by means of interviews, observations, and document studies. Data collection is taken from primary and secondary data sources, such as books, journals, online media news, report data at the Temanggung Police Station This research uses management theory, organizational resource theory and SWOT theory as well as several concepts relevant to the title of this writing, namely the concept of optimization, the concept of investigation, the concept of mobilization, the concept of intelligence, the concept of radicalism, the concept of mass organizations. There are also several factors that influence both internal and external. Satintelkam, Temanggung Police consists of 4 units and totaling 26 personnel and there are four radical mass organizations in the jurisdiction of Temanggung Police Station. In its implementation,there are several shortcomings in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. There are also shortcomings in human resources, budget, infrastructure and implementation methods that are not in accordance with Perkabaintelkam No. 1 of 2013, Perkabaintelkam No. 3 of 2013, Perpol No. 2 of 2021, and Perkap No. 1 of 2019. To overcome these shortcomings, several solutions have been made so that ideal conditions or expected conditions can be realized as stipulated in applicable legislation.
