Empowerment of Bhabinkamtibmas in Preventing Drug Trafficking in Traditional Communities at Tuban Police
Abstract
This final assignment is based on the importance of the role of Bhabinkamtibmas in efforts to prevent drug trafficking in traditional communities. The theories used are Collaborative Leadership Theory and Program Implementation Theory. The results of this research show that the empowerment of Bhabinkamtibmas has not been previously implemented in relation to the issue of increasing drug trafficking in traditional communities in Tuban Regency. Bhabinkamtibmas plays a strategic role as the forefront of the police in preventing drug trafficking in traditional communities, but there are still some obstacles in its implementation, such as the lack of coordination between the narcotics unit and the community policing unit regarding drug prevention in traditional communities at Tuban Police. Therefore, it is expected that there will be effective vertical and horizontal coordination between the Narcotics Unit and the Community Policing Unit at Tuban Police, and that Bhabinkamtibmas empowerment will be properly implemented, including fulfilling the required number of Bhabinkamtibmas personnel.
