Abstract
The high rate of weighted theft in Temanggung is related to the not optimal implementation of patrols. The purpose of this study was to describe the patrolling of the Turjawali Unit of the Samapta Unit of the Temanggung Police, to find out the factors that influence the performance of the patrol of the Turjawali Unit of the Samapta Unit. The theories and concepts used in this study are relevant to the research title, namely the concept of optimization, the concept of Samapta, the concept of patrolling, the concept of weighted theft, management theory, and the theory of organizational resources. The research was carried out using a qualitative research approach and case studies are the type of research used, which means that the author positions himself as a research subject by going directly to the field. This research was also supported by data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies through documents then the data that had been obtained was then validated for its validity through triangulation and determining the data to be used through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research findings were then examined further and then analyzed using management theory and organizational resource theory. The research findings show that the high number of streaks in Temanggung Regency is due to the fact that patrols are not yet optimal in carrying out their duties due to various factors such as patrol planning that does not respond to the actual conditions of the situation, the lack of ability and experience of Patrol Unit personnel and others. Solving problems related to this problem is by making a forum group discussion (FGD) program and re-evaluating existing plans by adjusting the actual conditions of security in Temanggung Regency.
