Optimization of Bhabinkamtibmas Counseling Guidance in Preventing Fraud Crimes in the Gresik Polres Jurisdiction

Abstract

The large number of fraud cases that occurred in the jurisdiction of the Gresik Police during 2021-2023 resulted in enormous losses so that preventive measures need to be taken by paying attention to aspects of protection, human rights, legal norms and a sense of justice for the community. Therefore, the researcher examines the optimization that can be carried out in the guidance of Bhabinkamtibmas counseling in preventing cases of criminal fraud at the Gresik Police. A qualitative approach method was used in this research by conducting descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and document study techniques. The theories in this research are POAC and 4M management theory, SWOT theory, communication theory accompanied by the concept of optimization, the concept of social security and social security, and the concept of counseling guidance. This research shows that the extension guidance implemented is still not optimal so there are still several things that can still be optimized.
