Optimizing the Performance of Bhabinkamtibmas in the Prevention of Theft with the Community Through the Siskamling Program in the Jurisdiction of the Purwakarta Police

Abstract

The backround to this problem arises because of the high number of cases of fraud in Purwakarta Regency. An approach was made with the community through the social security program conduted by Bhabinkamtibmas. This study aims to determine the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas in preventing motor vehicle theft, to know the factors that influence the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas in preventing, to find out the optimal performance of Bhabinkamtibmas in preventing motor vehicle theft. Theories and concept for analyzing the focus of research include performance theory, while the concept of optimization, the concept of performance, the concept of Bhabinkamtibmas, the concept of fraud, the concept of crime prevention, the concept of social security. The result of the study found that the performance of Bhabinkamtibmas was not running optimally which was analyzed using performance theory, internal and external Bhabinkamtibmas performance factor that were analyzed with performance factors and optimization of Bhabinkamtibmas performance in the implementation of the social security program which was analyzed with the optimization concept. The conclusion of the implementation of Bhabinkamtibmas performance in the implementation has not run optimally only needs to improve the quality of Bhabinkamtibmas members. Suggestions constructively include suggestions to further optimize the implementation of Bhabinkamtibmas performance by increasing education and knowledge in accordance with applicable regulations, for security sosial to apply more in accordance with pasal 8 ayat (3) perkap nomor 23 tahun 2007 concerning security social and provide something with virtual utilizing social media which exists.
