Optimization of Traffic Units in Enhancing Rider Discipline and Orderliness Through Safety Riding Activities in the Jurisdiction of Karawang Police Resort

Abstract

The high increase in violations that occur in traffic in the Karawang district police jurisdiction in 2017 to 2019, is a major problem for the Karawang Police Traffic Unit. As is known, the National Police has the duty and responsibility to provide services, protection and protection as well as maintain security and order. The smooth flow of traffic itself can affect the security and order itself, coupled with the fact that Karawang regency is a place of industry so that this fact has the influence of the traffic density of Karawang regency The method used in this study is a qualitative method which is expected that information that has been collected in depth and in full can provide something very important information. So, the completeness of the data can be used as a reference to find new innovations or new ideas to solve existing problems. By knowing how to perform the performance of the Traffic Unit Unit Dikyasa in carrying out their duties, how the leadership in improving the quality that is in the unit to achieve a maximum result and find out what factors are obstacles in the implementation of tasks in the Karawang Police jurisdiction can be found solutions are constructive in carrying out the Karawang Police Resort duties so as to realize services, protection and protection to the community properly. This research refers to Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation, which explains that the purpose of implementing safe, safe, orderly and smooth traffic as well as shaping the behavior of the people so that the ethics and culture of traffic.
