Optimization of the Role of Bhabinkamtibmas Sector Police Mojosongo Through Sambang Activities to Prevent Criminal Acts of Theft with Ballast
Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack quality of Bhabinkamtibmas's role of the Mojosongo Police in sambang activities. Bhabinkamtibmas Mojosongo Police still looks to prioritize handling COVID-19 compared to criminal acts of theft with ballast. The purpose of this research is to describe the role and problem solving efforts carried out by Bhabinkamtibmas to increase the role of Bhabinkamtibmas Mojosongo Police through sambang activities to prevent criminal acts of theft with ballast. There are two theories used in this research, namely the management theory which stated by George R. Terry and Herman Goldstein's Problem-Oriented Policing theory. There are also several concepts used in this study, namely the Bhabinkamtibmas Concept, the Sambang Concept, the Precision National Police Concept. The research carried out using a qualitative approach method using a type of case study research. Data sources are obtained from the results of interviews, observations, and document studies. Data validity is tested by source triangulation and techniques. The results show that the role of Bhabinkamtibmas Polsek Mojosongo in sambang activities to prevent theft with ballast crimes in order to create Kamtibmas according with Perkap Number 7 of 2021 concern about Bhabinkamtibmas. Then, the sambang activities carried out to prevent the criminal act of theft with ballast are still not on target. So the conclusion that can be drawn is that the role of Bhabinkamtibmas sector police Mojosongo in sambang activities for the prevention of criminal acts of theft with ballast is still not optimal. Basically, the problem solving efforts given by Bhabinkamtibmas are still inaccurate. afterwards, the problem solving steps given are expected to be able to increase the role of Bhabinkamtibmas Mojosongo Police.
